Advocacy Work
FEQUET, DOUGLAS BRYCE v. HIS MAJESTY THE KING IN RIGHT OF CANADA
As an advocate for rights and freedoms, I have been involved in various initiatives to promote social justice and equality. FEQUET v. HIS MAJESTY THE KING (HMTK) is a Federal Court Case initiated by me, the plaintiff FEQUET, Douglas Bryce, seeking Indigenous Recognition as a person with Aboriginal ancestry. The right to Hunt Fish and Gather for sustenance, and access to federal programs such as Post-Secondary Education, NIHB - Non-Insured Health Benefits. This case began on 03/10/2022 and is ongoing. I am self-represented and Justice Canada represents HMTK.

National Indigenous Registry System
My commitment to advocating for rights and freedoms has led me to engage in projects that aim to empower the Individual as opposed to Organizations that receive billions of Tax payers dollars from the Federal Government. The Federal Government has no Registry System for its Aboriginal people, only a single Registry system, which recognizes only those individuals who are "entitled" to be recognized under the Indian Act. A National Registry System managed by the Federal Government is beneficial, both socially and economically. As an example the Federal Government funds five separate registry systems for the same group of people. The Federal Government has no Legal Definition of what constitutes an individual to be recognized as Indian, Inuit or Métis.

Route Jacques Cartier
Route 138
Being an advocate for rights and freedoms, I have been dedicated to driving positive change through my projects. On the Lower North Shore of Quebec, where I was born, there are isolated communities without road access to Quebec and Canada. A stretch of approximately 300 km between Old Fort Bay and Kegaska.
